Saudade House 52

A living roomwithout a fixed address.

First lived in Andara, Jakarta. An invitation-led cultural house bringing jazz, culinary craft, design, and private-client hospitality into remarkable places.

Exact dates and addresses are disclosed privately.

01

The premise

A private house without a permanent address.

Saudade creates temporary living rooms in places where living rooms should not exist: a private residence, an aviation hangar, a vessel at sea.

Each Volume is composed as one evening—an intimate table, live jazz within the room, objects chosen with purpose, and guests brought together through trust.

Imagine arriving at someone's house—only the address is unfamiliar. The room is made, the evening takes its course, and nothing needs to be repeated.

02

The House grammar

Every Volume begins with a room. Four elements make it Saudade.

The address may change—from a residence to a hangar or a room by the water—but the House remains recognisable: a chef authors the table, jazz lives among the guests, the company is carefully composed, and every evening carries a gesture beyond itself.

The constants

The chef.The jazz.The company.The gesture.

01

The room

An unexpected setting made intimate enough to feel like someone’s home.

02

The chef

A chef authors the table—its menu, rhythm, ingredients, and sense of place.

03

The jazz

Live jazz unfolds within the room, close enough to become part of the conversation.

04

The company

Collectors, founders, operators, cultural voices, and trusted friends of the House.

05

The gesture

A defined contribution to a cause held close to the House, carried beyond the evening.
